Content Media Corporation Ltd is a London and LA based private company that owns and distributes a significant library of film, television, and digital assets.
The Company also owns a 50% stake in Collins Avenue, a LA based entertainment TV production company, a 55% stake in Spirit digital media, a digital production company, and 50% stake in film and television production companies Jigsaw Productions and Campfire. Content Media’s catalogue contains in excess of 275 theatrical feature titles plus library rights to more than 5,400 hours of TV programming incorporating major drama series, non-fiction entertainment, special event programming, kids’ series, TV movies and mini-series. .

John Schmidt
Chief Executive Officer of Content Media CorporationMr. Schmidt has gained extensive experience in building successful entertainment and start-up companies throughout his career. He co-founded October Films in 1992 and served as its Co-President until its sale to USA Networks in 1999. October was one of the foremost independent film companies of the 1990s, winning two Oscars, 13 nominations and top prizes at the Cannes Film Festival on three occasions. Some of October Films' credits include internationally acclaimed films such as "Secrets And Lies," "The Apostle," "Celebration," "Lost Highway" and "Breaking The Waves." Prior to founding October Films, Mr. Schmidt was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Miramax Films from 1989-1992 and Financial Analyst at Tri-Star Pictures from 1986-1989. Mr. Schmidt began his career as a documentary film producer after graduating from Yale University. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1986. He currently lives in Riverdale, New York, with his wife and three children.

Chief Financial Officer of Content Media CorporationHe trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse Australia working in their audit division. Moving to the Corporate Finance division he also qualified to become a Member of the Securities Institute of Australia. Geoff moved to the UK in 1990 and has held various accounting and consulting positions in the Jardine Matheson group of financial services companies, other UK consulting/media companies and Bankers Trust. Starting at the grass roots of ContentFilm International in 2003, he worked with ContentFilm Inc. through the original merger of ContentFilm plc and then through the acquisition of the Fireworks library. Geoff is a member of the board of Content Media Corporation Ltd. Geoff is married and lives in London.

Executive Vice President and Head of Business and Legal Affairs of Content Media CorporationRick is an experienced attorney and executive with over a dozen years of experience in the motion picture and television industry. He has extensive background in both corporate matters, including corporate governance, operations, strategy, finance and mergers andacquisitions, as well as entertainment matters, including motion picture and television production, finance, acquisitions and distribution. In his rich and well-rounded career in private practice and in-house, he has represented institutional, corporate and individual clients in the media industry, and has served as an instrumental member of and adviser to executive management of various media companies. From 2001 until 2004, Rick served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of a leading independent motion picture production company, Franchise Pictures, and prior to that as Senior Vice President and head of business and legal affairs of World Wide Film Completion, a start-up motion picture completion bond company. Rick started his career as an entertainment, finance and corporate attorney with the prestigious international law firm of Proskauer Rose LLP. Rick received his juris doctorate degree from The Georgetown University Law Center, where he also served as an associate editor of the Georgetown Law Journal.
