ContentFilm takes 'STEEP'

ContentFilm Intl. has picked up international rights to "Steep," a documentary about big mountain skiing, written and directed by Mark Obenhaus, which Sony Pictures Classics will release in North America.
The film had its world premiere at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, and also screened at Telluride. Content will launch it to foreign buyers at the AFM in November.

The U.S. release is scheduled for December. Pic was produced by Higher Ground Prods. in association with the Documentary Group.
