International rights to Jake Scott’s Sundance premiere ahead of EFM taken by ContentFilm

London and Los Angeles-based sales outfit Content International has taken international rights to Jake Scott’s WELCOME TO THE RILEYS.

The film, which stars Kristen Stewart and James Gandolfini, was screened in Sundance last month and will have its international premiere in Berlin’s Panorama section this month. North American rights are being handled by UTA’S Independent Film Group.

Jamie Carmichael, president of ContentFilm International, said: “I was really taken by the way Jake had crafted this emotional and often funny story about two unlikely, and somewhat lost souls meeting – and then against all odds, saving each other. We know we have something very special in our hands with this film and we’re delighted to be working with Jake, Scott Free and Argonaut Pictures.”
