And following the stabbing death of his brother, aspiring rap artist Philip Flip Bernard is caught between two staggeringly different realities, each with its own irreversible consequences. Forced by his father to either get a real job with a steady paycheck, or pursue his goal of becoming a hip-hop rapper and survive on the streets, Flip is torn between chasing his own dream or giving in to his father's demands.
