Formerly known as Fireworks International, Content Television has assumed a leading position in the international television programme distribution field on the strength of the worldwide success of its high-quality and commercially appealing programme catalogue comprising of over 3,200 hours.

This catalogue includes an extensive slate of major drama series, non-fiction entertainment, kids live action comedy and drama series, TV movies, mini-series and special event programming. Recent additions include the crime thriller THORNE; hilarious BBC comedy series WHITES; FREAK ENCOUNTERS, a unique blend of horror and reality; innovative new multi-platform dramas such as NUCLEAR FAMILY, PRETTY TOUGH and THE BOOTH AT THE END; plus over 200 U.S. network mini-series and TV movies; and specials including the U.S. PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS show, the prestigious BAFTA entertainment portfolio and the THE CRITICS’ CHOICE MOVIE AWARDS.

Established in 1999, Content Television is a division of one of the UK’s largest and fastest-growing entertainment companies Content Media Corporation, a London based, publicly traded company that owns and distributes a significant library of film, television and digital assets. Content Television has offices in London, Los Angeles, New York and Toronto.

Key Executives:

Greg Phillips, President of Content Television and Digital
Charged with heading up Content Television, Greg is responsible for managing all strategic business matters whilst driving the growth of the company in the international distribution of over 3000 hours of programming. Prior to working at Content Television, Greg held senior positions at MTM International, CBS Broadcast International, Southern Star and EMI Films.

Saralo MacGregor, Executive Vice-President, Content Television and Digital
Saralo has a strong and proven track record in international programme distribution having held executive sales positions with companies such as NBC International, Warner Bros., Turner International and the Samuel Goldwyn Company. Saralo is based in the LA office and is also involved in the acquisition and development of content.

Kathryn Rice, Senior Vice-President European Sales and Acquisitions
Kathryn is responsible for sales to the UK and Europe. Kathryn also works closely with Greg in reviewing potential content suitable for acquisition. Prior to joining Content Television, Kathryn worked at Minotaur International where she was Head of Sales, and before that, at Viacom International.

Melissa Wohl, Senior Vice-President Worldwide Distribution
Melissa has been involved in the entertainment industry for more than 15 years. Most recently Melissa worked at Allumination FilmWorks as Senior Vice-President of International Sales. Prior to Allumination, she served as Vice-President of Sales and Acquisitions at Harmony Gold. Melissa also served as Vice-President, International Sales and Co-Productions at WTTW-TV based in Chicago. Melissa is based in the Los Angeles office.

Diana Zakis, Vice-President Sales, Latin America and Asia
Based in the LA office, Diana manages sales to the growing Latin America and Asia markets. Diana brings a wealth of experience to the company, after several years sales and administrative experience at CBS International.

Matt Cooperstein, Kids/Teen Programming
Cooperstein joins Content from California-based Toonz Entertainment USA. With more than 20 years of experience launching innovative programming throughout the US and worldwide, including Wolverine, X-Men and Speed Racer “The Next Generation”, Cooperstein has worked with numerous key studios and companies such as ITC Entertainment Group, Polygram Television, Universal Worldwide Television, IndieArts Entertainment and Liberation Entertainment.

Jennifer Brinkworth, Vice-President of Marketing and Communications
Jennifer joined Content in 2007 after spending several years at ITV Global Entertainment and before that at Carlton International. An innovative strategic marketeer, Jennifer is responsible for the marketing of our programmes to broadcasters and partners globally across all communication channels and for the development of our relationships with the press and stakeholders.
